EmailOctopus is a newsletter tool with a free plan for 2,500 subscribers and 10,000 emails a month. The paid Pro plan is priced by list size and shown on annual billing, which is cheaper than paying monthly.

The price list shows the monthly price on annual billing. Monthly billing costs more by the price list’s own “Save” figure (€12/year at 500 subscribers, €48/year at 10,000).

Twelve times the monthly figure at two sends a month, before VAT. Paid plans billed in dollars are not ranked against euro prices.
The largest step comes between 2,500 and 5,000 contacts: Free to €26 a month, or €312 more a year. Ranked by price, with free plans included and paid plans in dollars left out, EmailOctopus is number 2 at 500, number 2 at 1,000, number 1 at 2,500, number 1 at 5,000, number 2 at 10,000 contacts. Moving to EmailOctopus

How contacts are counted
Unsubscribed contacts do not count toward the limit, nor do hard bounces and spam complaints, which are marked as unsubscribed automatically. Contacts awaiting double opt-in do not count either.
